Recovery - The Solution

The Simon House Recovery Centre Program is unique in a number of ways:

• Our benchmark for success is staying clean and sober for one year – far higher than many other recovery programs in Canad.a
• Approximately 50% of the men who complete the Simon House Program achieve this benchmark, far surpassing industry averages of 15-20%.
• Men are accountable for their progress throughout the program.
• Men pay rent, share in chores, and learn to be self-reliant.
• Men provide peer support and take responsibility for their progress.

Simon House was awarded the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Donner Canadian Foundation Award for Excellence in the Delivery of Social Services for the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse.
